BUENOS AIRES - 2nd DAY

On the second day in Argentina, we went to visit the Colon theatre which is one of the 4 most famous theatres of the world with Ron doing the translator because the guide was speaking spanish. It was huge with lots of corridors and during the visit tour some got lost but finally found their way, hopefully.
After the visit, we finally found our Terra Brasil bus which was stuck for few days at the Argentinian border and went to La Boca, the Italian neighborhood where we visit the famous stadium La Bombonera and then we had free time to discover by ourselves Caminito which was amazingly beautiful and typical from Argentina. We found couples dancing Tango in the street, music, painters in the street.
After this really nice afternoon, we went back to the hotel, got well dressed and went to a fancy restaurant. At 21h, we had a Tango show which took place in the building in front of our restaurant. It was an incredible show, crazy music, amazing dancers, great singers. All of us enjoyed that night a lot, and took bunch of pictures of the scene after the show. Afterwards we went back to the hotel. This night was incredible, we finished this trip on a magic touch.



No segundo dia em Argentina, fomos visitar o teatro Colon, que é um dos quatro teatros mais famosos do mundo, com Ron fazendo o tradutor porque o guia falava so espanhol. O teatro foi enorme com muitos corredores e durante o passeio visita alguns se perdeu, mas finalmente encontrou seu caminho, eu espero.
Após da visita, nós finalmente encontramos o nosso ônibus Terra Brasil, que foi preso por alguns dias na fronteira Argentina e foi para La Boca, o bairro italiano, onde visitaremos o famoso estádio La Bombonera e depois tivemos tempo livre para descobrir o bairro do Caminito que foi surpreendentemente lino e típico da Argentina. Encontramos casais dançando tango na rua, música, pintores na rua.
Após este realmente agradável à tarde, voltamos para o hotel, tenho bem vestido e foi para um restaurante chique. Às 21h, tivemos um show de Tango, que teve lugar no edifício em frente ao nosso restaurante. Foi um show incrível, música louca, dançarinos incríveis, grandes cantores. Todos nós apreciamos a noite muito, e levou monte de fotos da cena após o show. Depois voltamos para o hotel. Esta noite foi incrível, nós terminamos esta viagem em um toque mágico.

BUENOS AIRES - 1st DAY

Today we went to shop in Buenos Aires on the morning on one of the main street of the Argentinian Capital where we had to learn how to change money into Pesos Argentinian directly in the street. We had until 3 p.m then to meet back to the hotel and all go on a city Tour which was really interesting and nice for us to know about that amazing city. During our city tour we had that opportunity to see the biggest street in the world and place where was the first argentinian flag. We took so many pictures such as "holding" the statue or "kicking" it. Then we went to the plaza do Mayo (May square) and many other famous places of the city. After this amazing and really interesting day full of great experiences and memories we finally went for dinner ( where by the way the bread was really good ) , a dinner where phones were forbidden which made an amazing and super funny night where everybody laugh a lot!


 Hoje fomos fazer compras em Buenos Aires, de manhã em uma das principais ruas da capital Argentina, onde tivemos de aprender a trocar o dinheiro em pesos argentinos diretamente na rua. Tivemos até três horas, em seguida, para atender a voltar para o hotel e tudo ir em um passeio pela cidade que foi muito interessante e agradável para nós saber sobre essa cidade incrível. Durante nosso passeio pela cidade, tivemos essa oportunidade de ver a maior rua do mundo e local onde foi a primeira bandeira Argentina. Tiramos muitas fotos como "segurando" a estátua ou "chutar" ela. Depois fomos para a praça de Mayo e muitos outros lugares famosos da cidade. Depois deste dia incrível e realmente interessante cheia de grandes experiências e memórias que nós finalmente fomos para o jantar (onde pela forma como o pão foi realmente bom), um jantar em que foram proibidos que telefones fez uma noite incrível e super engraçado onde todo mundo rir muito!

De (From) Colonia do Sacramento a (to) Buenos Aires

Hoje a gente foi conhecer a cidade de Colônia do Sacramento. Fomos a um museu onde tinha a maior coleção de lápis do mundo, o dono do museu também tinha coleção de chaveiros (41.000), de xicaras, de vidro de perfumes e de pins.



Depois continuamos andando pela cidade, fazendo algumas compras de lembranças. Almoçamos e depois pegamos um ferryboat indo até Buenos Aires. Foi muito legal porque o barco era muito bonito e tinha um shopping duty free, muitos fizeram compras de um monte de coisas. 






Logo que chegamos em Argentina, fomos pra o hotel e ai jantar. Hoje o dia foi muito legal.

Today we went to see the city of Colonia do Sacramento. We saw a museum where there was the biggest collection of pencils in the world; also, the museum owner had other collections, such as key chains (41,000), cups, perfumes and pins. Then we continued walking down the city, doing some shopping for souvenirs. We had lunch and then took a ferryboat going to Buenos Aires. It was really cool because the boat was beautiful and had a duty free shop, many of us bought a lot of things.
As soon as we arrived in Argentina, we went to the hotel and then, dinner. Today was a very cool day.

City tour em Montevideo

Hoje a gente foi ao centro histórico da linda cidade de Montevidéu, conhecemos um monte de lugares muito legais, fomos pra uma estátua de Artigas, o uruguaio que começo com os primeiros pensamentos para a independência do pais; depois fomos pra a catedral e muitos de nós levamos um ramo na igreja por ser o Domingo de Ramos.


                     

Depois voltamos pra o hotel e fomos a uma fonte de cadeados para arranjar ou manter namorados. Mais tarde fomos a praia. Logo fomos jantar num restaurante muito gostoso e depois fomos para uma feirinha, que tinha tradições gaúchas e uruguaias, foi legal demais.

Today we went to the historical center of the beautiful city of Montevideo. We saw a lot of really cool places, like the statue of Artigas, the Uruguayan that start with the first thoughts to the independence of the country, then we went to the cathedral and many of us took a branch in the church for being Palm Sunday . Then back to the hotel and went to a fountain that people put lockers on it to find or keep boy/girlfriend. Later we went to the beach. After that, we had dinner in a really nice restaurant and went to a fair with gauchos and Uruguayan´s traditions. It was very cool.

Chegando em Montevideo/ Arriving in Montevideo

Hoje nós saímos de "Punta del Este" para ir a Montevideo, capital de Uruguai. A viagem foi muito rápida (duas horas), chegamos ao hotel para fazer o check-in e depois ir a um restaurante onde a gente tinha de cardápio a opção de escolher um prato com carne, frango ou pasta, os quais estavam muito gostosos já que tinham o toque da gastronomia uruguaia. Daí a gente começo o City-Tour visitando alguns pontos de interesse e populares da cidade como o parque Ródo aonde nós podíamos curtir um pequeno passeio num pedalinho, o popular ¨Casino Carrasco¨, a avenida Rambla pocitos para tirar fotos com o ressaltante anúncio da capital.









Para finalizar a noite deram para a nós um tempo livre para fazer compras e jantar num Shopping perto do Hotel e ao chegar a este, nosso grupo de mexicanos e alguns outros intercambistas incluindo 2 equatorianos curtiram um jogo de futebol que estava acontecendo ao vivo nesse momento. Today we went out of ¨Punta del Este ¨ to Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. The Trip was really short ( two hours), we arrive in the hotel to did the check-in, after that we went to a restaurant where we had the option of meat, chicken or pasta. (By the way; that was delicious because had that special flavor of the Uruguayan gastronomy). Then we started the City-Tour visiting some interesting and popular points of the city like the Ródo Park where we could enjoy a little ride in a ¨pedalinho¨, the popular ¨Casino Carrasco¨, the avenue Rambla pocitos to take some pictures with the highlighted capital announce. Finishing with the day we had a free time to buy things and dinner in the shopping mall near from the hotel. When we came back to the hotel, our group of Mexicans and some others exchangers including 2 Ecuadorians, enjoyed a Soccer game between Mexico and Ecuador that was happening in that moment. Dia maravilhoso em Punta del Este/Wonderful day in Punta del Este

O dia começou conhecendo Punta del Este. Fizemos uma caminhada pela beira da praia até a mão enfincada na areia, quando estávamos chegando, acabamos vendo a largada de uma corrida de bicicleta. Depois, tivemos tempo livre no centro para trocar dinheiro (pesos uruguaios), compras e almoço. A tarde, saímos para um city tour, onde vimos o porto de Punta, um lugar dos barcos pesqueiros, as pontes ondulantes e o Museu Ralli, mas o que realmente mais marcou o dia foi a Casapueblo e a cerimônia do pôr do sol.





É simplesmente impressionante. Sem dúvida nenhuma posso dizer que é uns dos lugares mais belos que já visitei até agora. Você escolheu mais do que um lugar para fazer uma casa, um lugar para viver em sintonia com a natureza. Fiquei sem palavras ao observar o jeito em que o sol ilumina tua casa e o mar, sempre em movimento e com cores dançantes. Uma diferente, linda, autentica paisagem cada dia. Com o reflexo do magnifico sol sobre o mar e o infinito movimento da agua.

Na minha opinião este lugar, este templo, este paraíso não pode ser retratado ou capturado em uma foto, pintura ou vídeo, não por sua imensidade se não pela perfeição deste mesmo. Quando você está aqui não observa apenas o panorama, o sente, o respira, escuta e o mais importante; O VIVES.

Obrigado por obsequiar-lhe esta obra maestra ao mundo e por ter essa visão única que só poucas possuem. Casapueblo, Punta del Este, Uruguay.

The day started seeing Punta del Este. We walked near the beach until the hand in the sand. When we were almost there, we were surprised to see the beginning of a bike race, even the TV was there. After, we had free time downtown to change money, to go shopping and to have lunch. In the afternoon, we went in a city tour starting at Punta´s harbor, a place that the fisher boats stay, the wavy bridges and the Ralli Museum, but what really was the high point of the day was the sunset ceremony at Casapueblo.
It is simply impressive. No doubts Casapueblo is one of the most beautiful places that I visited until now. You chose more than a place to build a house, a place to live in tune with nature. I became wordless to see how the sun illuminates your house and the sea, always moving and dancing colors. A different, beautiful and authentic landscape each day. A magnificent sun reflex on the sea and infinite water moving.
On my opinion, this place, this temple, this paradise cannot be pictured or captured in a picture, painting or video, not because wilderness but by its perfection. When you are here, you don´t see only a panorama, you smell it, you listen to it and the more important, you live it.
Thank you for giving that masterpiece to the world, for this unique vision that few have. Casapueblo, Punta del Este, Uruguay.

Viagem para o Uruguai -primeira parada: Punta del Este/ Uruguai roadtrip - First stop: Punta del Este!!!

O dia começou muito cedo para viajar rumo Uruguai, ficamos a maior parte do dia no ônibus, fizemos uma parada para comer um lanche e depois continuamos nossa viagem.
Chegamos umas 8 horas em Punta del Este e fomos direito jantar pizza muito boa depois fomos no hotel, um hotel muito chique com piscina, sauna e academia, algumas pessoas entraram na piscina aguardando até a reunião.

The day started early because we had to travel to Punta del Este, we spend almost all the day on the bus. We just made a short stop to eat lunch and then we continue travelling. We arrived to Punta del Este at 8 pm and we went to eat pizza on a restaurant it was so good and after that we finally arrived to the hotel, some of the exchange students went to the pool and the other ones were on the lobby just waiting for the meeting start.

Aproveitando último dia em Gramado/ Enjoying last day in Gramado.

Hoje a gente foi para o museu do carros antigos chamado “Hollywood: Dream Cars”. Todos os carros são muito luxos e bonitos, tem um monte de Cadillacs, Lincolns e BMWs. A gente tirou fotos com os carros e com umas motos onde nós podíamos subir.





Em seguida, fomos pra o Lago Negro, é um lago muito bonito onde podíamos andar de pedalinho, foi muito legal mas muito cansativo também, porque as vezes o volante não dava e só batíamos uns com outros, foi muito engraçado.



 Depois fomos pra o centro e tivemos um tempo livre para almoçar, conhecer um pouco e comprar lembranças. 
Mais tarde, fomos pra Porto Alegre, foi uma viagem curta pois só ficamos umas 3 horas no ônibus. Chegamos no hotel e nos encontramos com mais intercambistas que já estavam nos esperando. 
Falamos oi para todos os novos integrantes da viagem e fomos jantar onde tinham um show muito legal de dança típica gaúcha.

Today went to the car museum “Hollywood Dream Cars”. All the cars were so fancy and had a lot of different bands like Cadillac, Lincoln and BMW. We took a lot of pictures with all the cars and the motorcycle. After that we went to Lago Negro, it is a really nice place and we had so much fun riding on "pedalinhos", it was tiring too, because somethimes we could get to the right direction and we would bump in other "pedalinhos".


After we went downtown were we had free time so we had lunch and by some presents. After that we began our trip to ¨Porto Alegre it was a shot trip, when we arrived to the hotel the other exchange students were already there and then we went to eat dinner and we saw a dance show tipical from the south of Brazil.

Super dia em Canela/Super day in Canela

Hoje a gente foi para o portal da cidade de Gramado e tirou uma foto com o grupo todo.



Depois nós fomos a um parque onde tem uma cachoeira muito legal com um paisagem muito bonita, a gente fico uma hora no parque na área de brinquedos para crianças. Depois nós fomos para uma casa de especialidade em maças. Nós degustamos um appfelstrudel e chá de maça muito gostoso.





Nosso dia continuou com a visita do maior coelho de chocolate da América Latina ; 2,897 quilos e 3 metros de altura. Ele precisa um banho de chocolate cada 8 meses pra não estragar.

Depois nós tivemos tempo livre no centro da cidade de Canela, onde fica uma catedral famosa. Em seguida, nós fomos para um museu da cera e também para o mundo de Harley Davidson que fica no mesmo lugar.



Depois a gente foi para a vila de papai Noel onde existe muita decoração do natal especialmente uma fonte de “neve” com cachorros São Bernardo muito fofinhos. Foi um momento muito simpático, nós tiramos foto com o papai Noel. Tivemos a mágica de natal por alguns minutos.



Finalmente nós voltamos pra o hotel depois de um dia com muita atividade.

Today we went to the gate of the city of Gramado and the group took a photo then we visiting one park that has this very beautiful waterfall with an amazing landscape, we stay like one hour on a kid’s playground. Later we visit an old house that specialize on apples. We eat an appfelstrudel and apple tea. As the day continues, we visited the biggest chocolate bunny in Latin America; 2,897 kilos and 3 meters high. He needs a chocolate bath every 8 months to not get dry or white.

Then we had free time in the city center of Canella, where there is a famous cathedral. After we went to the wax museum, Dreamland and for the world of Harley Davidson in the same place. Then we went to the Santa Claus Village where there was a lot of Christmas decoration and specially one fountain of "snow" with São Bernardo dogs that were very cute. It was a very nice moment; we took photo with Santa Claus. We had lhe Christmas magic for a few minutes.

Finally we came back at the hotel after one full day .

Cidade Mágica: Gramado/ Magical City: Gramado

O ônibus saiu as 7:15. Nós viajamos de ônibus por 5 horas e paramos para o almoço. Foi no shopping japonês ficamos ali uma hora. Continuamos nosso caminho a Gramado. Quando nós chegamos fomos direito para a fábrica de chocolate.



Era interessante com chocolate de pimenta, branco, e leite como amostra grátis. Depois, nós fomos para uma loja dentro para comprar chocolate. Os intercambistas fizeram a loja mais rica. Chegamos no hotel muito legal. A cidade de Gramado é muito diferente de qualquer outro no Brasil. Nosso hotel é antigo e fofo.



Nós tínhamos tempo livre onde muitos foram pra centro da cidade. Nós gostamos muito. As oito horas nós fomos jantar em um restaurante italiano. O comida estava muito boa. E agora estamos escrevendo no blog. Boa noite, pessoal!

The bus left at 7:15 in the morning. We traveled on the bus for 5 hours, and stopped for lunch. We went to the Japanese mall and stayed there for one hour. We continued on our way to Gramado. When we got there we went directly to a chocolate factory. It was really interesting, and there was free chocolate samples of pepper, white chocolate and milk chocolate. After, we went to the gift shop and bought chocolate. The exchange students made the store a lot richer when we left. We arrived in the hotel, which was really cool. The city is really different than any other in Brazil. Our hotel is really old and quaint. We had free time and lots of people walked to the center of the city. We liked it a lot. At 8 o´clock we went to dinner at an Italian restaurant. The food was really good. And now, we are writing the blog. Good night everyone!!

Florianópolis: barco, praia e festa!!!/Florianópolis: boat, beach and party!!!

Hoje nós ficamos em Florianópolis. Nós acordamos cedo e pegamos um barco para chegar ao outro lado da ilha e caminhamos muito pra chegar na cachoeira. Era muito bonito. Nós vimos três cachorros brigando. Ron foi muito corajoso e salvou um deles. Depois voltamos para ponte e para comer frutos de mar num restaurante muito legal. O camarão estava gostoso. Depois, pegamos o barco de volta pra ir pra praia.



Dentro do barco, algumas pessoas cantaram muito. Na praia, tinha “sandboarding” onde você pode descer na areia. A praia era muito bonita mais o dia estava muito frio com ventos forte. Quase cinco horas, todos estavam no restaurante esperando o melhor jogo de ano e comendo batatas com bacon. Depois, voltamos paro hotel. Ficamos um tempo livre pra depois ir para mercado e comprar comida para jantar. O mercado estava super perto de hotel. Depois voltamos para nos arrumar para a festa. A festa foi na sala de jogos no hotel. Começo nove horas, tinha um DJ muito legal, com músicas massa, funk, eletronic, sertaneja e mexicana. A festa estava muito legal, pessoas dançaram muito, e outras ficaram conversando lá fora com a vista maravilhosa.



Cantamos Parabéns para o Roberto e para a Joana que fazem aniversário durante a viagem. A festa acabou e todo mundo foi para quartos cansados, e todos suados. Tivemos que fazer a mala porque nós tínhamos que acordar cedo para o check out e partir para Gramado.

Today we spent the day in Florianopolis. We woke up early, to take a boat for a port on the other side of the island. We walked a long way to get to the waterfall. It was really pretty. We saw three dogs fighting. Ron was very brave and saved one of them. After, we went back to the port and ate lunch at a restaurant there. We had seafish at a cool restaurant. The shrimp was very tasty. After, we took the boat to go to the beach. Inside the boat, people were singing a lot. At the beach, there was sandboaring available, where you can slide down big hills of sand on snowboards. At about 5 oclock, we were all in a restaurant to watch the best game of the year. We tried the French fries with bacon. After, we went back to the hotel. We had some free time and then we went to the supermarket to buy food for dinner. The market was really close to the hotel, we were able to walk. After, we went back to get ready for the party. The party was in the game room of the hotel. It started at 9 oclock, with a really cool DJ, with good music, funk, electronic, sertaneja, and Mexican music. The party was really cool, people danced a lot and were talking outside with a marvelous view. We singed Happy Birthday for Roberto and Joana, whose birthday are during our trip. The party ended at midnight, and everyone went to their room because we were all really tired and sweaty. We had to pack our suitcases because we had to wake up early and close up the hotel and leave for Gramado.

Beto Carrero World

Hoje foi um dia muito legal! Primeiro ficamos no ônibus 4 horas pra depois ir no parque Beto Carrero. A entrada do parque e como um castelo muito colorido e tem um helicóptero onde podia fazer um recorrido aero, antes de entrar nós tiramos uma foto de grupo inteiro.

 

 

A gente entrou e tinha muita fila para os brinquedos, então compramos o “fast pass” para poder entrar em todos os eles sem pegar fila. Tinha muitos brinquedos legais para gente subir mas gostamos mais de três brinquedos: a montanha russa, o king kong e a torre.

 Nós andamos pelo parque e conhecemos o zoológico que tenha leões, macacos, girafas, elefantes e muitos mais animais bonitinhos até chegar a área de comida. Ali cada um comeu o que quis e ali no meio, tinha um carrosel que depois de comer a gente subiu. Um pouquinho mais tarde o tempo nublou e a dar raios então todos os brinquedos foram fechados. Muitos aproveitaram e foram ao show “Velozes e Furiosos” que foi muito bacana com carros fazendo piruetas e derrapando.

Quase acabando o show liberaram os jogos de novo e ali foi que a gente aproveito demais da conta até a hora de voltar pra o ônibus e começou a chover e a gente correu para o ônibus. Depois a gente partiu para Florianópolis em um viagem de duas horas. A gente chegou em uma pizzaria para comer pizza a vontade. A pizza estava muito boa e comemos demais. Terminando o jantar saímos para o hotel e Ronald nosso belo coordenador falou a programação de amanhã. A gente chegou e os responsáveis de cada quarto pegaram a chave e todos foram para os quartos. Assim foi nosso belo oitavo dia da nossa aventura sul-americana.

Today was a day very nice! First, we stayed in the bus 4 hours in direction to the Beto Carrero World Park. The entrance was like a castle very colorful very cool and they had a helicopter that you can do a trip on it very nice; before we entered to the park we take a group photo. We entered to the park and in all the attractions they had a lot of line so we all decided to buy the “the fast pass” so we could enter to all the attractions without doing line. They had many cool games but we like more three attractions that was the huge role caster, the king kong game and the tower. We walked through the park and we saw the zoo that was pretty cool they had lions, giraffes, monkeys, elephants and a lot of other animals very nice, and we arrive the food zone where everyone eat what they want in there and there they had a carousel. Later they closed all the attractions because a thunderstorm was coming and we were very disappointed about that, because we use a few times the fast pass so many people went to see the “Fast and Furious” show. It was very awesome with cars doings acrobating things and almost ending the show the games were open again and there we enjoyed the fast pass to the maximum until the we needed to go back to the bus and we need to run because it started to rain, then we travel two hours to Florianópolis. We arrived to a pizza restaurant and we eat pizza like a buffet and we eat a lot of pizza, the pizza was good. Then we went to the hotel and our pretty and handsome coordinator Ron tell us the program for tomorrow. We arrived at the hotel, the encharged of the room take the key, and everyone goes to their rooms. This was our beautiful and awesome South American Adventure 8th day.

City tour em/in Curitiba

Nós chegamos em Curitiba! Depois de uma longa viagem de 12 horas ontem no ônibus, hoje a gente passou o dia na capital do estado de Paraná, Curitiba. A cidade tem ao redor de quatro milhões de pessoas em total. Na manhã começamos indo a curtir a beleza natural do jardim botânico. 



 Depois fomos para o museu Oscar Niemeyer. Foi muito interessante assistir a exibição do famoso fotografo Brasileiro de nome Sebastian Salgado. Suas fotos são todas apenas em branco e preto e se enfocando no lindo da desconhecida natureza, especificamente na África, o Polo sul e norte, Pantanal e Amazônia.





 Daí para o almoço levaram a gente a um dos maiores restaurantes do mundo, Madalosso, com capacidade para servir a 4.500 pessoas ao mesmo tempo. A comida foi do estilo italiano. Depois fomos para um parque onde tinha uma pequena torre para ter uma visão panorâmica de um lago e parte da cidade. 

 Então a gente foi para o Bosque Papa Joao Paulo, memorial da imigração polonesa em Curitiba. Depois passamos pelo centro da cidade que tem muitos interessantes restaurantes e tendas que tem influência da Alemanha e a Itália. Tinha um monte de prédios históricos e monumentos. Para finalizar a noite tivemos tempo livre para jantar e conhecer a famosa rua chamada “Rua das Flores” perto do Hotel.

We arrived in Curitiba! After a long 12 hour bus ride yesterday, today we spent the day in the capital of the state Parana, Curitiba. The city has just around four million people in total. In the morning we started out going to enjoy the natural beauty of the famous botanic garden. Next we went to the Oscar Niemeyer Museum. It was really interesting to see a special photo exhibition by a famous Brasilian photographer named Sebastian Salgado. His photos were all in black and white and focused on natural beauty of undiscovered nature specifically in Africa, the South and North Pole, Pantanal, and the Amazon. Then for lunch we visited one of the biggest restaurant in the world, Madalosso, which can seat about 4,500 people. The food was Italian style. After we went to a park where there was a small tower to see a magnificent view of a beautiful lake and some of the city as well. Next we went to the Papa Joao Paulo Forest, a memorial about Polish immigration in Curitiba. Then we went to the center of the city, which had a lot of interesting restaurants and shops that were influenced by Germany and Italy. There were also many historic buildings and monuments. Then we ended the night by having free time to go eat dinner and explore a famous street near the hotel in Curitiba called “Street of the Flowers”, or in Portugese “Rua das Flores”.

De Paraguai a Curitba/ From Paraguay to Curitiba

Oi, tudo bem­, ontem o dia foi ótimo porque a gente conheceu o pais do Paraguai, a verdade eu não esperava muito desse passeio mais terminou sendo muito legal e engraçado, nossa eu não acreditava o que eu estava olhando quando os caras queriam vender tudo por menos de 5 reais hahah, a gente foi pro shopping Del Este e ali muitos de nós fizemos compras muito baratas, eu pessoalmente comprei um iPhone novinho hahaha, todos os taiwaneses compraram de tudo, desde um pau de selfie até iPhones e GoPro, depois disso a gente foi pra hotel pulamos na piscina um pouco e depois fomos jantar num rodizio de pizza com as melhores pizzas de chocolate que eu já experimentei, depois disso a gente tive o show de talentos que foi engraçado de mais porque ninguém preparou alguma coisa pro show quase todo foi improvisado, os mexicanos brincamos de luta libre e os taiwaneses dançaram single ladies, um americano cantou músicas de Fergie, e depois a gente fez uma mini festa.

E hoje a gente passou todo dia no ônibus coisa que foi legal porque a gente já virou quase uma família e gostamos de passar tempo juntos. Saímos cedo de Foz e percorremos 636 km até Curitiba, capital do Paraná.

Hi everybody, yesterday the day was great because we went to the country of Paraguay, to be honest I didn’t expected a lot of this tour but it ended being very cool and funny, omg I didn’t believe what I was seeing when the guys wanted to sell everything for less than 5 reais. We went to the shopping Del Este and there a lot of us made very cheap purchase, I personally, bough the new iPhone 6, the Taiwanese people bought many things, since selfie stick to iPhones and GoPro. Later we went to the hotel and got into de pool for a while and then, we went to have dinner at a pizza buffet, it has the best chocolate pizzas that I already tried. After that we had the talent show, it was very funny because nobody prepared a thing, almost everything was improvised, the Mexicans made a scene of WWE and the Taiwanese danced Single Ladies, an American singed of Fergie, and then we made a mini party.

Today we spend all day in the bus, it was cool because we have turn into a family and we love spending time together. We left the hotel early in the morning and travelled 636 km until Curitiba, Parana´s capital.

Entre as cachoeiras e os pássaros/ Between the Falls and the Birds

Hoje acordamos mais tarde, tomamos café da manhã e tivemos que dividir o grupo em dois, um foi para Argentina e outro ficou no Brasil, porque precisariam de visto para entrar na Argentina.

Argentina: Pegamos ônibus para ir ver as cataratas do lado argentino, estivemos na aduana argentina muito tempo esperando ansiosos para chegar nas cataratas. Quando chegamos na cidade de Puerto Iguazu para conseguir ver as cataratas tivemos que fazer uma caminhada de 650 metros para vê-as desde a cima depois fomos numa lanchonete para almoçar, acho que para todos foi confuso o tipo de moeda porque tínhamos que pagar em pesos argentinos quando terminou o almoço a gente foi para um trem que nos levou para a Garganta do Diabo onde conseguimos ver uma coisa maravilhosa e inesquecível, tiramos muitas fotos incríveis com aquela vista. Voltamos para o ônibus e tivemos tempo de fazer umas comprinhas numa loja duty free.

Brasil: Começamos o passeio no Marco das Três Fronteiras, onde do Brasil, conseguíamos ver a Argentina e o Paraguai separados apenas pelo Rio Iguaçu e pelo Rio Paraná. Compramos várias lembranças e vimos moedas de todos os países do mundo. Depois, fomos a um templo budista e tiramos muitas fotos; conhecemos, no Brasil, um Budismo diferente ao de Taiwan. Conversamos com a dona da loja de artesanato que também era taiwanesa. Estava bastante calor, aproveitamos a hora do almoço para almoçar e nos refrescar no shopping. A tarde, fomos ao Parque das Aves, vimos muitos pássaros, inclusive araras, emas e tucanos e outros animais, como cobras e jacarés. Tiramos muitas fotos, até segurando uma arara azul. Foi muito massa!

 

 

Voltamos ao hotel para nos arrumar e fomos jantar numa churrascaria muito boa tinha muita variedade de comida e teve um show das danças e músicas de latino-americana como: Chile, Argentina, Paraguai, Uruguai, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico e fechando com Brasil, o show foi legal de mais todos os intercambistas desfrutaram muito e dançaram alguns dos ritmos latinos.

Today we woke up a little later, we had breakfast and divided our group in two, one went to Argentina and the other stayed in Brazil because they would need a visa to go to this other country.

Argentina: We took the bus to go visit the waterfalls from the Argentinian side, we were on the border waiting anxiously to get to the waterfalls. When we arrived on the city of Puerto Iguazu to be able to see the waterfalls we had to walk about 650 meters to get to see them from the top. After this we went to have lunch, it was very confusing for everyone the currency because we had to pay in Argentinian pesos, we ate and when we were finished we went to the devil´s throat by train, we got a wonderful and unforgettable view, we took so many pictures. We went back to the bus and had some time to go shopping in a duty free store.

Brazil: We started the day going to the three frontiers landmark, where from Brazil, we could see Argentina and Paraguay separated by Iguaçu and Parana River. We bought a lot of gifts e saw coins of all countries in the world. After, we went to a Buddhist temple. We took a lot of pictures and got to know a Brazilian Buddhist, different from the Taiwan one. We talked to the lady that owened the little shop there, she was Taiwanese too. For lunch we went to the mall to eat and to get fresh in the air conditioning, because it was very hot. In the afternoon, we went to the Birds Park, we saw many birds, including mackaws, rheas and tucanos and other animals, like snakes and alligators. We took a lot of pictures, even holding a blue mackaw. It was really cool!

Then we went back to the hotel to get ready and went to diner in a nice churrascaria. There was a great variety of food and a show of the Latin American music and dance of countries like: Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico and closing with the presentation of Brazil, the show was awesome and all of the exchange students enjoyed it a lot and danced to some of this rhythms.

Um dia incrível em Foz / An amazing day in Foz

Hoje a gente teve que acordar as 6:00 para tomar café e ficar pronto para ter a orientação da viagem onde falaram aspectos importantes acerca das regras e o funcionamento da viagem. Nós fomos para Itaipu a conhecer a planta hidrelétrica que é uma das maiores do mundo. De toda a energia produzida lá, corresponde a 50% para cada pais, Paraguai e Brasil, mas Paraguai usa apenas 8% para abastecer um total de 90% da toda a energia do seu país, e Brasil fica usando os outros 92% restante para abastecer 20% de toda a energia produzida aqui.

 

Depois nos fomos para as Cataratas de Iguaçu. Lá, nós andamos e descemos por uma pequena trilha com muitas vistas maravilhosas e tiramos muitas selfies. Nos almoçamos as três horas e depois fomos pra uma passeio chamado Macuco Safari. É uma viagem que nos levou num barquinho a conhecer o rio e tomar um banho nas enormes cachoeiras, o que foi muito legal já que tinha umas paisagens muito lindas no trajeto ate chegar e experimentar a frescura e a emoção de estar tão perto duma cachoeira dessa magnitude.

Today we had to wake up at 6:00 AM to eat breakfast and get ready for the trip orientation where we talked about the important rules and activities associated with the trip. We then went to Itaipu which is one of the biggest electrical energy producing dams in the world. This dam was a co-operative project between Paraguay and Brazil and it is located on the border of the two countries. Originally 50% of the energy was to be used for each country, but being that Brazil became a much larger country they ended up taking 92% covering 20% of their total energy and Paraguay takes 8% covering 90% of their total energy production. After we went to Cataratas de Iguassu. There we walked down a trail to wonderful views of the waterfalls, we took plenty of selfies. We had lunch at around 3:00 PM, and then went to go on a Macuco Safari. This organization took us on a boat down the river underneath the waterfalls. It was like the Shamoo Splash Zone on steroids! The water was a refreshing cool down from the hot Brazilian temperature, and it was incredible to be that close to waterfalls over a hundred feet tall.

Chegando em Foz do Iguaçu/ Arriving in Foz do Iguaçu

Hoje acordamos muito cedo para tomar o café de manhã e sair rumo Foz de Iguaçu.
Quando a gente entrou no ônibus quase todos ficarem dormindo. Quando acordamos e assistimos o filme, depois descemos pra almoçar. Voltamos pra o ônibus e fizemos muitas brincadeiras, tivemos muitas risadas e depois assistimos os filmes de a Cidade de Deus e Se Beber Não Case. 

Chegamos a Foz as 18:30 hrs e fomos a jantar em um shopping. Logo chegamos no hotel, fizemos o check-in, de ai fomos para a reunião do dia e desfrutamos da piscina, do ping-pong e do bilhar.

Today we woke up very early to take breakfast and go to Foz de Iguaçu.
When we arrived in the bus almost everyone fall asleep. Then we woke up and watched a movie, and then we stopped to get lunch. We went back to the bus and told many jokes and then we watched a Brazilian movie called Cidade de Deus and Hangover.
We arrived in Foz around 18:30 hrs and went to take dinner in a mall. Then we arrived to the hotel, did the check-in and then we went to the daily meeting; we enjoy a little bit of the swimming pool, Ping-Pong and the pool.
